YAKIMA - Calvin "Sonny" Wallbaum was born to loving parents August and Carrie Wallbaum in Parkersburg, Iowa on September 9th, 1921. He passed away at the age of 86 on Friday, October 19th, 2007 at Memorial Hospital with his three children by his side. He shared his growing up years with his five siblings in Parkersburg. He then joined the army and served his country during WWII. He fell in love with Betty Johnson and the Yakima Valley while in the military.
