TEMECULA, CA - Clara was born in Grafton, N.D. to Alice and Napoleon Rheaume, she was one of eight children.She grew up in the Yakima Valley and graduated from St.Joseph's Academy in 1955. Shortly after graduation Clara went to California in search of Elvis,but as it happened he was already taken so she married, settled down, had a family and spent the rest of her life there anyway! She was preceded in death by her father Napoleon, mother Alice, three brothers ,Leland, Leroy and Leonard Rheaume all of Yakima, and one sister Emelda"Tootsie" Carlton of Gig Harbor, Wa. who died in July, 2007. Clara is survived by her son Craig McDowell, of Houston,Texas, and her daughter Corrie Hyman, her husband Mark and their two daughters, Natalie and Rachel who reside in League City, Texas.See the full content of this document
