There are times -- thankfully, not that often -- when Yakima could learn something from Seattle. Tuesday was one of them.
As the Yakima City Council was banning all children 15 and younger from riding any type of motorized scooter, the Seattle City Council was recognizing an important distinction between electric- and gas-powered scooters. Seattle councilors ultimately set an age limit of 16 for the faster gas-powered scooters, but left the slower electric-powered models available to kids of all ages.See the full content of this document
