The science behind this is a bit shaky, but I'm pretty sure that breeze you felt Wednesday was from the start of The Maryhill Festival of Speed. The festival, which runs through Sunday on Maryhill Loops Road near Goldendale, features people zooming down hills on various wheeled apparatuses at just completely insane, borderline-horrifying speeds.
