PROSSER - Dorothy H. Christopher, age 92, took the hand of our Lord on January 20, 2008 at Prosser Long Term Care Facility in Prosser, after suffering many years with Dementia. She was born on August 27, 1915 to Dr. and Mrs. Howard Hull in Chambersburg, PA. Her father, being an Army doctor, meant Mom's family was on the move and lived in several different locations during her earliest years. Her grade school years were spent on an Army post at the Veterans Hospital in Walla Walla, WA. When her father entered into private practice, her family moved to Elma, WA where she spent her high school years and graduated from Elma High School. Some years later, her family moved to Yakima, WA where she was enrolled in a nurses training program. Her training was cut short by a bout with TB where she underwent lung surgery and spent an extended period of time in the hospital.See the full content of this document
