Her father's name is engraved on the city's oldest high school -- A.C. Davis -- her father's father is credited with being a founding minister at the First Baptist Church of Yakima -- Charles Davis -- and her married name marks a prominent section of the Yakima Greenway -- the Plath Pathway -- but Dorothy Davis Plath has also left an indelible imprint on Yakima in her own right.
