YAKIMA - Evelyn M. Jackson, age 93, of Yakima, died February 20, 2004. She was born January 23, 1911 in Clarion, Iowa to parents Wilber and Bessie (Munnis) Chance. Evelyn was raised in Danvers, Minnesota where she attended and graduated from the Lutheran Boarding School. Her family moved to the Kelso, Washington area in 1929. On March 5, 1933 she married Paul Jackson in Longview, WA. She had been a resident of the Yakima area since 1947 settling in Terrace Heights. Evelyn was an accomplished pianist.
