UNION GAP, Wash. -- Union Gap city clerk Kathryn Thompson was escorted out of City Hall on Tuesday and will have a pre- termination hearing with Mayor Jim Lemon this morning, the mayor said.

Lemon said Thompson is on paid administrative leave and the hearing has been called due to "insubordination issues." Lemon said he would not divulge more details on the situation until after the hearing and a final decision has been made.
