ABILENE, TX - Former Yakima resident, Helen E. Wick, widow of Pete Wick (longtime KIT news editor) died in Abilene, TX on Nov. 11, 2004. Born and raised in Selah, she and Pete were married there August 19, 1934. Helen moved to Abilene from Portland, OR, 27 years ago with her daughter Margaret. She had worked as a secretary, was active in the Episcopal Church, PEO and Rosalma in Yakima.
Survivors include her daughter Margaret Dentzer and husband Mark of Abilene; grandson Michael Whedbee, wife Brandi, and great- grandsons Shawn, Chandler and Nicholas, all of Puyallup, WA; numerous nephews and nieces including Mrs. Guy (Mary) Shinn of Yakima.See the full content of this document
