LONGVIEW - Howard Douglas Ocobock, 61, died June 6, 2009 in Longview, WA. Howard was born in Yakima on August 8, 1947 to Herbert C. and Hazel (Prine) Ocobock. Howard graduated from Eisenhower High School in 1965 and went to work for Boeing. He joined the US Navy and served on active duty for six years and was deployed on the USS Roosevelt during the Vietnam Conflict. After his honorable discharge from the Navy, he served in the National Guard for several years, followed by the US Navy Reserve for a total of 30 years of military service.
