Summary


James Garnet Fletcher, 71, passed away on October 17 after a brief illness. Jim was born on March 4, 1939, to James and Ramona (Hull) Fletcher. He was raised in the Wenas Valley and graduated from Selah High School in 1957. After graduating from WSU in 1962, he began his career in Yakima and earned the Jaycee "Man of the Year" in 1966. Jim enjoyed 14 years with United Way in Yakima, Albuquerque, Palo Alto and King County before starting his own development consulting firm in 1982.

Jim was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying all aspects of hunting, fishing and trail riding on horseback. He loved playing cards with friends and family and spending time at his Roslyn house; he was also an avid sports fan and a die-hard WSU Cougar.
