Shortly after graduating from LaPorte High School, LaPorte, IN in 1944, Jane and her parents moved to Yakima. Jane's career life included working at the Hanford Nuclear Reservation and Yakima Contact Lens along with working for Dr. Hood. She worked for Dr. Richard Vorenkamp for 27 years.
