A couple of things stand out about the decision by Senate Democrat leaders to hold a series of the chamber's committee meetings in Spokane's Davenport Hotel in September: Spokane is not the most readily accessible of cities for most legislators, and The Davenport is certainly not economy class when it comes to accommodations.
