PACKWOOD - On May 29th 2006 our worst fear came true when we lost our beloved husband, father, and "granddad" Ray Denney at the age of 83.
He was born October 15, 1922 in Ava, Missouri to Rhoda and Howard Denney. Soon after he moved to Yakima Wa. Where he met and married his wife of 65 years Audeen Denney. He was in the CCC in 1940, before enlisting in the Army in 1943 and served in Europe in WWII. In 1955 they moved to Anacortes, Wa. Where Ray worked at Shell Oil Company for 27 years. He retired in 1983 and moved to Packwood, Wa. Where he stayed for the remainder of his life.See the full content of this document
