To the editor -- Our neighbor, Mexico, has been unable to police its northern border for many years. Mayors, police chiefs and prosecutors have been murdered and the federal government of Mexico has been unable to bring the border under control. Along with the drugs, illegal aliens and criminals, anarchy has been exported to our southern border. U.S. presidents and Congress have been unwilling to take the necessary steps to control U.S borders, and now some of our border agents are being corrupted and are cooperating with the Mexican criminals, according to a July 15 Washington Post article.
