TUMWATER - The family of Sharon L. Genson would like to thank everyone for their support and caring following the passing of their beloved mother, grandmother and friend. Sharon was born July 9, 1941 in Yakima to Robert and Erma Kinney. She was raised in Yakima and graduated from AC Davis High School then went on to receive her degree in Nursing. She had been a Nursing Home Administrator and most recently worked for Nicholas and Associates in Olympia. She enjoyed her grandkids, shopping, gardening, crafts, playing cards, board games and bingo. Sharon is survived by her former spouse, Jerry Genson; life partner, Wayne Kingston; daughters, Lori Genson, Lisa Phillips, Kari Stroud and Kathy Genson; brothers, Robert Kinney, Jr. and Greg Kinney; sisters, Patricia Aragon and Linda McAleer; her mother, Erma Kinney and ten grandkids, Lisa and Chrissy Graham, Dalton Todd, Chrissy Krausse, Justin and Jacob Mathers, Marissa and Morgan Stroud, Tori Lane and Jochelle Varner.See the full content of this document
