Students from Eastern Washington University and Washington State University will share their stories of success, dedication and overcoming obstacles at Yakima Valley Community College on Saturday. The event, "Making College a Reality: Preparing for Tomorrow Today," will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the college's HUB building. It will include workshops, a step and stroll performance, a college fair and lunch.

The event is being organized by Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity at EWU and WSU and Kappa Delta Chi sorority, Lambda Theta Alpha Sorority, Omega Psi Phi fraternity and Sigma Lambda Beta fraternity, all of EWU.
