Disputing Clinton claims

To the editor -- You know, when gas prices where high, the Democrats constantly blamed President Bush because of his connections to big oil. This, despite basic Economics 101: Supply and Demand. Now gas is going back down, why is credit not being given to President Bush for it? He was to blame him for high prices, logically, why would he not be responsible for lower prices? Just wondering.

After watching President Clinton on Fox News on Sept. 24, I was amused at President Clinton defending what he "did" to fight terrorism. I remember the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, I remember the military barracks bombing in 1995 in Saudi Arabia, I remember the two U.S. Embassy bombings in Africa (connected to bin Laden), I remember the U.S.S. Cole Bombing in 2000 (connected to bin Laden). But, I just don't recall what he did to go after those responsible. Chris Wallace asked a straightforward question: What did you do to fight terrorism? Clinton came unglued and said those are attacks of right-wingers (Fox News Sunday Sept. 24).

Clinton says he never had an opportunity to get bin Laden. Not true. ...
