Born Sept. 6-1946 - Passed away April 13, 2007. Born in Yakima. She attended Selah Schools. Daughter of Earl & Ruth Burkhart of Selah. She married Joel Houck on Nov. 22, 1969, they moved to Sherwood Mi. where they raised a family of 1 son, Joel Jr. and 2 daughters Gina & Shantel. She owned "Sujo" Kennels Grooming & Top Breeder of Miniature American Eskimos. She traveled all over the United States to show her Champion dogs. She made friends easily and was loved by all. As Laurie of "Golden Clipper" of Selah said-She was generous to all, always willing to share her knowledge. Her dog shows were a source of comfort for her through years of illness.
She fought hard for 25 yrs. and endured major pain & suffering but she kept fighting back with her husband Joel always by her side, he was always there for love and support through every step of her sickness, Thank You Joel.See the full content of this document
