UNION GAP -- To help motorists reach Union Gap restaurants and shopping centers, the Washington State Department of Transportation is shifting Interstate 82 traffic onto a new, temporary bridge.
The bridge, which was scheduled to open early this morning, will be used by westbound drivers, according to a news release. By shifting westbound traffic onto the temporary bridge, construction crews can proceed with the Valley Mall Boulevard expansion project and move eastbound traffic onto the temporary detour later this month.See the full content of this document
