Wilbert Arthur Horst, 88, of Grandview, WA went to be in the arms of his Heavenly Father on Saturday, October 23, 2010. Wilbert was born on February 5, 1922 in Elgin, ND the son of Solomon and Ottilia (Kranich) Horst. He served in the United States Navy. On June 3, 1945 he married Hilda Rauscher in New Leipzig, N.D. The Horst family farmed and in 1950 they moved to Bismarck, N.D where Wilbert was a building contractor. He also was a truck driver in Louisiana before moving to Granger, WA in 1975 where they farmed. They later moved to Grandview where they farmed and began a business harvesting grapes in 1980. Wilbert was a member of the Sunnyside Christian Reformed Church and was a board director of Mountain Valley Grape Processors.See the full content of this document
